Pocono Palace 02 was taken with the use of mirrors at Cove Haven’s Pocono Palace Resort before it closed May 2nd, 2024. It captures the lowest floor in the Fantasy Apple Suite: A room of three levels bathed in blue light. The suite contained a pool, a heart shaped tub, a circular bed, and see-through blue tinted floor.
Pocono Palace 02 is a part of a miniseries of mirror photos, called “Portal Series,” consisting of four medium format film prints. The “Portal Series” is part of a larger body of work called Honeymoon, focusing on Pocono hotel archiving.
