Nora works as an indepedent producer of life art and arts project manager. She has produced live performances for The Museum of Modern Art, Performa, Public Assembly/Domino Park, the Aspen Art Museum, and indepedent artists. She’s had the pleasure of working with: Joan Jonas, Sable Elyse Smith, Jota Mombaça, Mariana Valencia, and many more. Outside of live works, Nora has assisted the fabrication of set, sculpture, and prop peices for various artists, including Pope.L, Yve Laris Cohen, Jude Tallichet, and Peter Born.
Artistically, Chellew primarily works in sculpture, incorportating original text and printed imagery into her work. Decay and change are part of her conservation practice, indicating aging in her pieces. She has shown her work at Spencer Brownstone and Parent Company, NYC; FiveMyles and Brick Aux (The Brick), Brooklyn; Spillway Collective, Philadelphia; and Phoenix Athens, Greece. In 2021, Nora received a N.Y.F.A. City Artist Corps Grant.
